Aluminum Sulphate is used principally in textile manufacturing, in the dyeing and printing of textiles. it is also used as a flocculants in water purification.
It is a colorless crystalline powder. It is odorless and nontoxic. It dissolves easily in water, forming a slightly acidic solution.
In manufacturing, it is used in concrete production, and a waterproofing agent.
In agriculture, it is used as a soil pH adjuster and as a molluscicide.
